McKenzie Methods is an evaluation and pain management process that allows the doctor to find an exercise or stretch that improves the pain the patient is experiencing. Once we identify this stretch, we are able to know two things; first, that it is safe to adjust you and secondly, that the adjustments will help.
The McKenzie Methods stretches are not only great for evaluating and treating stuck joints, but work equally well addressing disc herniations and radiating pain. These exercises also have the added benefits of speeding recovery and allowing patients to manage their pain if they have relapses in the future.
